"I am enclosing an article that ran in the Daily Bulletin last year. It gives an overall history of the car. Steve has loved the 1932 3-window Ford Coupe since he saw his first one many years ago. He searched for a long time but could not find what he wanted so he decided to build his car.
First of all, there are no books that tell you how to go about building a new car. If one does not have mechanical ability, the where-with-all to find parts, the ability to ask telling questions, then one should never consider building a car from scratch; it is just too difficult.
Steve built his car from the ground up, making every decision, knowing the order in which things would go together efficiently and effectively. It took exactly two years to build, with many of those months spent looking for parts, service, etc. The article said that 95% of the people who try to build a car give up but he believes it is even higher than that after talking to people for over two years. Since that article was printed, Steve has won over twenty trophies.
You wanted to know how he found out about your product. It was in a goodie bag given to each participant at the 6th Annual Inland Valley Rally and Cruise Car Show held in Ontario, California, on June 5, 1999. Evidently we were parked close to something that dotted our car with hard clear bumps. It wasn't sticky like sap and couldn't be seen but could be felt if one ran a hand over the car.
The next day Steve tried cleaners and even mineral spirits but they simply weren't effective. He spied the sample of Protect All sitting on his work bench and decided to try it. He was simply amazed at the results and continues to be so today. He says he has never seen anything like your product. Not only does it clean the car but it enhances the finish, bringing out the brilliance of the paints. Since our car is a metallic paint, the Protect All gives it a look of wetness, almost as if one could dive into it. Needless to say, Steve is so enthusiastic about your product, he shares it with everyone who looks at the car. "Just wanted to take time to tell you how much I LOVE Protect All. At an RV get-together in Tennessee last September, a few of us did an un-scientific test of all the cleaners and waxes we could find among those in our group. I personally applied a small amount of each to my
motorhome, as they brought them to me. The purpose was to see which removed black streaks, bugs, road dirt, etc. The best, was easy to use, and gave the best finish. I had never used Protect All before, but after testing all the brands we had, I went to the nearest Wal-Mart or K-Mart, and bought my first bottle. "When you first mentioned you were coming out with a gasoline additive I wondered why anyone would take the time to develop such a product. After reading the informational brochure you gave me I was convinced I had to try it.
I had several vehicles that are my pride and joy, one is a 1972 280SL, it is a classic. It sets most of the time. I put the gasoline additive in the tank, it seemed like it happened almost immediately, I had a ten percent increase in RPM at idling speed without any fuel adjustment. "I am writing you regarding an unexpected discovery I made on March 4th. While shopping at a local Wal Mart store I was in the automotive department browsing around. I noticed an unfamiliar spray bottle containing a product advertised to, 'Clean, Polish, Wax and Treat.' My first reaction was HA! I have heard and read so many claims by companies selling automotive finish products. The result should be that if their products did everything as claimed, my vehicle’s finish would be impervious to any damage short of a nuclear explosion. I would have to polish it only once, I could use a feather duster to buff it off and I would probably be cited by the local law enforcement for blinding other drivers with the shine.
Anyway, I am pretty skeptical of advertising claims, but I am always willing to try things in hope of finding that one that works. I bought your product,
Protect All, with the feeling that the worst thing that could happen is I would be out the nine bucks purchase price. I arrived home with my wife and two kids and, since the afternoon was so nice here in Chicago for this time of the year, I tried your product on our 1994 Honda Accord EX. We have only owned this car five months, and we are very happy with it. We want this car to last a long time and we want it to look nice. I applied your product in 30 to 40 degree weather, much colder than the 60 to 90 degree suggested range on the bottle. I applied the product and used a water dampened baby diaper to do the final polish. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW GREAT THIS STUFF WORKS. It was quick and easy, I completed the task from start to beautiful finish in about 45 minutes. I have spent hours before and have not had results anywhere near this good. The finish almost looks 'wet.' I am almost afraid to ask what’s in this product, it must be illegal. The most amazing feature of Protect All was that, as 'Murphy’s Law' would have it, after cleaning the car the next day we had a snow storm. We took the car out into the salt spray that occurs when the streets are salted. When we arrived home THE CAR DIDN’T LOOK DIRTY. I have had cars not look as good the day after it was washed in the summer. I will recommend your product to anyone I talk to. And I thank you for making a product that will save us money. Protect All will pay for itself just in the amount of time and money we would spend washing our car. I cannot believe anyone would not want to spend more time enjoying a beautiful clean car than washing it all the time. Again I thank you for a product that honestly does what it says it will!"

"About a month ago I purchased a new camper shell for my 1989 Ford Ranger. I noticed your product sitting on a shelf in the accessories showroom. After being recommended by the salesman I purchased a can. After using the product I just can not believe the good results.
My Ranger, not having a clear coat on its paint, really became faded to a point that it almost looked pink. The color of the truck is medium light canyon red. Any type of wax I tried using didn’t work. Now the interesting part; I’ve been applying Protect All every Saturday since I bought it. It just takes short sprays then rub in with a polishing cloth. "I didn’t really think I would be sending this unsolicited testimonial…but I am convinced that you have a fine line of products and that deserves credit.
I had heard of Protect All for years and after getting on the Forum and seeing your offer of a free sample, I decided to try it. I put it on the front of my Allegro Bus, found it to be as easy to apply as advertised, much easier than the previous product I used, NU-2000 wax and polish. I thought PA worked well for awhile, but after a few weeks didn’t feel that it had endurance. I was aware of the wash, but didn’t believe you could use only a capful in two quarts of water without damaging the finish, so I used my usual Simple Green detergent to wash the coach. After washing a few times I again applied Protect All and was generally satisfied with the results, so I proceeded to buy a gallon.
While in
Perry, GA, I stopped by the Camping World 'store' and
saw your colleagues (distributor?) demonstrate the
roof compounds. I questioned one of them (didn’t get a
name) about the [Quick & Easy Wash] and he said it
worked as advertised, just wipe the surface with
bucket of solution and cloth, so I decided to give it
a try. (In fact, your Forum comments to a reader about
using Simple Green to remove Protect All from a finish
before applying, a decal as I recall, led me to
reconsider using the wash, suggesting that strong
detergents such as that should NOT be used over
Protect-All, and I had not, perhaps given it a fair
test.)
Where we live on the coast of SC the water has a high saline content and, even with the best of efforts, leaves water spots on the
[motorhome] after washing. Saturday (4/13) my wife, Elizabeth, and I decided to give the wash a try, using a small terry towel for washing a small area at a time, top down and drying with synthetic chamois. The only precaution I took was hosing down ahead of time some loose dirt on one corner and on the wheels. (Any one tell you about the weather and ground conditions at Perry?.
The washing could not have been easier…or with a better outcome. We used a total of three, 1 gallon buckets of solution (two capfuls/gal.) to wash the entire 35’
MH. In the past we always had water streaks or spots…but not with Protect All [Quick & Easy Wash]…and the process was actually faster and less messy than with a hose, bucket and brushes. Elizabeth had been even more reluctant than I about trying this simple process, but she now is a confirmed believer. So much so that she proceeded to wash the Saturn while I attacked the remaining black streaks on the
[motorhome].
I will admit I had some leftover black streaks after the wash…but I tried and found to my surprise that I could remove those streaks with a treatment and a little rubbing with Protect All, then polishing dry…presumably at the same time reducing future black streak buildup. I also learned that in the future, if only part of the coach is particularly dirty (such as the dreaded end-cap), I can simply mix up a small batch of solution and clean that part for a satisfactory overall appearance.
We next washed our BLACK Isuzu pickup, which had not been Protect All treated and found that again, no water spots. Later we applied Protect All to the pick-up (probably in less than 30 minutes and it looks literally, almost new (sorry, after 100,000 miles, 50,000 behind a
[motorhome], I can’t really say it looks new.
Because the products are so easy to use, I decided today to apply another treatment to our '96 Saturn. My wife quickly volunteered to help because the application is so relatively effortless and the results so striking, she says, 'the [Quick & Easy Wash] is absolutely fantastic'...
…Now, we’re looking forward to doing the rubber roof next week."

I used this on a severely damaged painted surface, and it [did] a great job of making it look clean and shiny. The surface was the hook, top, and trunk lid of my 1978 Town Car. All surfaces had severe bristle marks from car washes and sun. It almost looks repainted.
I also used this on my motorcycle fairing and [Plexiglas] windshield. The results were excellent. Dried bugs from last year wiped right off, no smears on the [Plexiglas]. My bike looks great thanks to your product.

I bought a small bottle and used it on my pop-up tent trailer. Camping World had a sale on it so I bought a gallon.
I used this product on my 1991
Chevy Van and it worked wonders. My wife has an old Schwinn bike with chrome fenders. The label says that it does chrome. I used it and it works as well as any chrome cleaner that I have bought. This saves me an expense.
